Glad you like them! I'm trying to take better photos of jewelry... wish my stock pictures would turn out as good. New camera is confusing to me. The stuff I put there will vary a lot in price according to my materials costs... some are more expensive with new materials, some are cheaper with recycled materials. :D

perhaps I could help you out of some confusion with the camera?

are you shooting with manual settings?

also, the creations using recycled materials may be seen as more valuable...just trying to confuse you more ;)

These were on auto after some failed attempts to use the manual settings. I looked at photos here on dA that were taken indoors and looked like a similar setup to mine, and wrote down all the numbers f stop and ISO and shutter speed and all of that. Then I put those numbers into my camera and got... black rectangles. I don't understand! :(

hey..the images I saw were of very good quality...although most any image will benefit from a little tweaking in Photoshop or similar app.

we are actually better off letting the camera do the thinking, except in extreme close-ups and some lighting situations.

btw...I am impressed with the manipulations using your images featured in your 'fav' gallery...some is masterful work.

congrats!
