This is a terrible scan. I really need to find someone who can scan big stuff professionally. Anyone's got advice for me about that, I'd appreciate it! This is another self portrait. This has two layers: The layer underneath is a painting in acrylic, gouache, and a little colored pencil. The top layer is a black and white photocopy that I tore to reveal the painting under it.
Quite an unusual technique, I think you may have really created something unique. Big pieces can be tough. Some of the printing companies have large flatbeds, and you might call Office supply stores to see if they have one. Possibly one option would be someone with a quite good camera and the piece on the wall so you can get exactly square and centered to it, but it would need to be a pretty decent DSLR
It's the really shiny paintings that are the biggest pain. We have a decent digital camera, and some of it turns out good if the painting is mat enough. Otherwise I get shiny parts.
